Snoring & Sleep Apnea Appliances

Sleep disorders can disturb your sleep and have a negative impact on your overall health and wellbeing.

For patients who snore, their relaxed throat tissues cause the airway to narrow, creating the sound of snoring as oxygen is forced past. Sleep apnea is a chronic condition. Its symptoms include shallow breathing, or pauses in breathing during sleep.

At Valley Centre Dental Clinic, we offer custom-fitted oral appliances to move the lower jaw and tongue muscles to open the airway.

This helps increase the oxygen flowing through your airway and prevents you from waking up throughout the night. These appliances can help relieve symptoms of sleep apnea and snoring.

We offer custom-made mouth guards that are worn over your teeth to protect them from damage.

Sports Guards

If you get hit in the mouth during a sports activity, a mouth guard provides a barrier between your teeth and the soft tissue of your mouth to protect your teeth from injury.
